The Serodia series of products adsorbs pathogenic bacterial components onto the granularized gelatin carrier. This infectious particle uses the particle agglutination test method. Currently, there are syphilis (SERODIA TPPA), Mycoplasma pneumoniae (SERODIA-MYCO II) , HIV (SERODIA - HIV 1 / 2 MIX) .... and other tests.
SERODIA-TP (Treponema pallidum) was first launched by Japanese company Fujirebio in 1968. SERODIA-TP·PA is still the most widely used product for syphilis testing. Particle agglutination is a simple one-step antigen-antibody reaction procedure without special equipment and can be used to visually evaluate the results.
